The world's record for a lottery was exactly 6 years ago this Friday, when the amount reached a staggering $656 Million.

This past Tuesday's drawing with the 23rd straight time with no grand prize winner, but their site says there were still over one-and-half million cash winners. The last big winner was on January 5th, when a single ticket sold in Florida was worh $451 Million..
