Maddie Levine Says Goodbye to the Michael & Maddie Show, Hello to Afternoons
Dear Fun 107 listeners,
After four wonderful years alongside Michael Rock and Gazelle, I have decided to make some life changes.
I am departing the Fun 107 Morning Show, but this isn’t goodbye.
This change-up is deeply personal. It’s all about chasing dreams, doing what feels impossible, and giving my life purpose.
Here’s how I plan to do it.
I’ve been a martial artist for close to ten years and started working in combat sports media around six years ago. During that time, I found happiness behind the microphone while sitting ringside. I began interviewing fighters, commentating on fight nights, and immersing myself in the fighting culture. Becoming a combat sports analyst got my heart racing. Since the first time I put on the headset, I could feel it in my bones that this was what I was meant to do.
Michael Rock always says, “Find a job you love and you won’t work a day in your life.”
I disagree.
I think when you find a job you love and when you find a job you’re passionate about, you’ll work tirelessly to be the best.
A life worth living takes hard work. It takes tough decisions and it’s not always the easy path.
I am choosing my “hard.” I am choosing the path less traveled.
The truth is, I am happiest behind a microphone. I love radio and I love combat sports. I feel that it's time I put all my efforts into one passion.

This decision did not come lightly. On paper, I have the best job in the world. I get to wake up every morning and hang out with my friends.
Michael Rock is one in a million. His passion for radio inspired me to live my life passionately and to find my “why” in life. I was his co-host for four years and I’ll be his little sister for the rest of his life.
I always joke that Gazelle is the brother I never asked for, but in truth, I have never met a person with a bigger heart or bigger personality than him. His selfless nature and silly humor make him not only a good friend, but a great producer and great person.
The hardest time to walk away is when everything is going great.
This change-up is me, betting on myself. Here's to taking chances!
I look forward to joining you at work from 1 pm to 4 pm every weekday and every Saturday afternoon from 3 pm to 7 pm. I'll be taking you along for the ride as I pursue a new venture, and I am thrilled to bring you along.
See you in the afternoons, SouthCoast.
Love,
Maddie Levine
