Someone Took My Keys From a Rhode Island Gym and I’m Not Sure What to Do
Accidents happen, but some are far more inconvenient than others.
Yesterday, my workout at the gym ended with a headache when I realized someone had taken my jacket from the women’s locker room.
It was most likely a mistake, but unfortunately, their mistake resulted in me without a pair of keys.
When I realized my jacket was gone, I had two thoughts.
“A stranger has my only pair of keys” and “How did they not notice the keys did not belong to them?”
My jacket is an average jacket and could have very easily been mistaken for another, but how did the person not notice the keys in the pocket?
I began thinking the worst. Did this person steal my car?
Luckily, that wasn’t the case, but I quickly enlisted the help of the gym employees to track down my keys.
Here’s the kicker. I had taken my husband’s car to the gym, so he wasn’t too thrilled to hear that a random woman had mistakenly taken his only pair of keys.

My husband soon arrived at the gym and we reviewed surveillance footage for the next two hours.
I managed to lock in on two potential “suspects," but still, it’s hard to know for sure.
My jacket blends in with every other black jacket out there. How could I possibly pinpoint it on camera?
I don’t even want to think about the possibility of this being intentional.
It’s safe to say I’ll be using a lock in the women’s locker room from now on, but if you or anyone you know was at the LA Fitness in Cranston, Rhode Island, on Monday night, let me know.
Help me uncover the culprit.
