Just when I thought I had seen it all, I saw something else that makes me question whether or not I’m living on an episode of Punk’d.

For the sake of the business and the person, I will not call out names, but this tea is begging to be spilled.

On Saturday night, a few friends and I went out to eat and enjoy the UFC card. This is an important detail because UFC cards are several hours long, and we were at this restaurant for at least four hours.

During those four hours, a man sat down with his friend across from our table. Shortly after arriving, he proceeded to untie his shoes and take them off.

It didn’t stop there.

He found a vacant chair, relaxed his shoeless feet on it, and made himself right at home in the middle of this restaurant.

It gets better.

From the depths of his coat pocket, this man pulled out his own soda and began drinking it at the table, with his feet elevated on a chair in front of him.

I wish it stopped there, but it doesn’t.

Let’s just say he was picking for gold and seeing how it tasted… aggressively.

My friends and I were shocked. This man had managed to make a restaurant dining area into his living room.

I waited for a manager or a staff member to say something to him, but it never happened.

For those four hours, he lounged, drank his soda and turned a lot of heads.

Why did no one say anything? Am I the crazy one here? Am I the rude one? Or has social etiquette completely turned upside down?

Did it ruin my appetite? No, but I don’t think I will return to that restaurant any time soon.

What is the strangest thing you have ever seen in a public place? For me, this one takes the cake.
