These seven songs what will motivate, hype and get you through your exercise routine.

If you're anything like me, working out without music is simply discouraging. I need a good pair of headphones that won't fall out of my ears during vigorous training and a playlist that will push me to slay the daily workout.

When it comes to music, everybody has their own preference and that's the beauty of life itself. Certain songs/music connect with the soul differently than others and that drive alone is what powers us at the gym (at least it does for me).

Unlike normal people who get motivated to better themselves at the very start of the year in January, I choose to begin my journey a month later. It avoids heavy crowds and gives my body an extra month to heal after the heavy lifting from the following year.
