First off, I'd like to thank Mr. Mark Zuckerberg for introducing me to this wonderful Christmas gift idea.

I'm not usually one to click on ads and links on social media for the fearful reason of being transferred to one of those phishing websites. However, as hypocritical as this is going to sound, when an ad popped up showing the good ol' Taco Bell logo, I was sucked right in. What can I say? I was enticed by the taco.

From there a banner appeared that read "Welcome to taco gifter! Gift a taco for any occasion or no occasion whatsoever." I don't know about you, my eyes lit up like a Christmas tree at the thought of randomly gifting my friends when they least expected it.

Just the fact that I can send something other than Edible Arrangements or flowers to someone is a game-changer in itself. Think about it: your boss is having a rough start to their morning? Send them a taco. Looking for brownie points with your significant other? Gift them a taco. Miss your old college buddies? Text them a taco.

Just by sending someone a link, whether it's to their phone or messenger, they'll be able to enjoy a tasty taco from Taco Bell, as long as it's $2 or below. Basically, it's an e-card with a minimum of $2 loaded on it, connected to a link. Attach a message or a .GIF to it and then pay for it with an online form of banking (i.e., credit or debit card). Your friend or family member now has a cache of Taco Bell bucks that can be used whenever they're hungry or in a rush for lunch. A simple online order through the app and they'll be off and on their way to the pickup section.

Oh, and Santa, if you're reading this, you might want to step up your gift-giving game. Taco Bell just upped the ante.
