National Vision Board Day is observed annually on the second Saturday in January. (Saturday, January 11, 2020).

A vision board, like a Dream Jar, allows you to invite the Law of Attraction to rule your life. What does that mean, exactly? Well, it basically means that what you put out into the universe will find its way to you; for better or worse.

If you are constantly thinking negative thoughts, then negative energies will follow you like a dark cloud. If you invite positive energies to enter your life, then your dreams will start to manifest themselves. Gratitude (even for the things that you wouldn't normally be thankful for) is key in this process, too. Stay focused on your goals and you will see opportunities that you may have overlooked prior to making your very own vision board.

I know someone who used a photo of the house that she wanted to buy and saved it as her desktop background at work. It was like her very own digital vision board. Every day, she looked at this house and truly believed that one day it would be hers. Fast-forward a few months, and her little family was LOVING that dream house and calling it HOME.

In all honesty, I'm very new to the whole "manifestation" thing. I wouldn't say I'm a negative person, but I could definitely use a shift in focus. That means being kinder to myself, too. The start of 2020 seems like a good time to reflect on what I'd like to change and set my intentions for the year to come. So, I've asked my friends to celebrate Vision Board Day with me on Saturday and turn our girls night into something more meaningful. Click HERE for a few tips that I'm using to get started.
