Pink Is Taking a Break, But First… [WICKED OR WHACK?]

Pink recently stated on social media that she would be taking a step back from touring and music in 2020. Rightfully so! Have you seen this woman's tour? Her show is very demanding on her body and I can only imagine on her family life as well.

Pink has been managing career and family pretty well over the last five years. Get this, her last tour grossed over $384 million. I'm pretty sure she doesn't need to work for a while now. She has always been very open with her belief that family comes first.

She has been touring and releasing music for just over two and a half years. During that time, her husband Carey has really been supportive and handled a lot of the child care while following her around the world on tour. Pink says it's time to give him a break and allow him to follow his dreams and passions for a little while, so 2020 is going to be a year to take a break from music and focus on family.

That doesn't mean that music she has already created won't get released by her record label. We just shouldn't count on Pink doing any promotion around the music.

This song is definitely one of the slower, more emotional songs for Pink, and not in an angry way. It features country star Chris Stapleton. They performed this song back in November at the Country Music Awards.

I know, I know. It's slow and the lyrics really tug at the heart, but you have to admit Pink can sing anything and we would still be in awe of her. So maybe this isn't a Fun 107 song, but it certainly is another masterpiece of hers. But that's what I think. What do you think?
