The convenience of Papa Ginos just increased on the Southcoast.

According to the Papa Gino's Facebook page, their pizzas are now available at Market Basket grocery stores.

While they are frozen, they might be what you need if you don't feel like waiting in line at Papa Gino's or dealing with driving with the recent bad weather. Cheese, Extra Cheese, Pepperoni, Italian Sausage, Mushroom and Pepper & Onion are the flavors available to start, but I imagine there will be more added to the catalog at some point in time.

The pizzas are about 12 inches across and are made using there signature three-cheese blend to maintain their classic flavor that we've all grown fond of. Based in New England, Papa Gino's has been feeding our Super Bowl and Birthday parties for decades, going all the way back to the 1960's and for them to merge with the locally loved Market Basket Company is kind of a big deal.

After making their debut on Super Bowl weekend, these pizzas have been well received by many and personally, I'm dying to try one.

"At Papa Gino's we are always looking to provide our guests with new, innovative ways to enjoy our Traditional Thin Crust Pizza using our 80-year old family recipe...we are excited to now offer a top-quality product to the grocery retail channel." -Marc DeBlois, CEO of Papa Gino's.

Well, what are you waiting for? Go check out the Frozen Papa Gino's pizzas for yourselves in the frozen aisle at Market Basket and be your own judge.
