Mini Horse Rescued From Sinkhole In Chatham

A poor little horsie was stuck in a sinkhole this morning in South Chatham. Around 6am this morning, the 15 year old miniature horse was found trapped in a hole about 4 feet deep.

It's believed to be an old septic system where the hole was, so that kind of makes him falling into the hole even worse, and stinky! Poor lil guy!

Chatham firefighters were able to dig a ramp and the mini horse was able to escape on his own that way. I bet he was scared, poor horsie! I'm so glad he was able to get rescued and wasn't hurt in the process!
