Husband Accidentally Sells Wife’s Wedding Ring for $10 [AUDIO]

A husband in Laguna Niguel, California, might be spending the next few nights in the doghouse after accidentally selling his wife's wedding ring at a garage sale.

Racquel Cloutier recently gave birth to her fifth child, but before she left for the hospital, she hid her wedding ring in an old jewelry box.

While she was gone, her husband sold the jewelry box for 10 bucks not knowing that the $23,000 wedding ring was hidden under a cushion in the box.  Yikes.

Cloutier is hoping that whoever purchased the jewelry box will return the ring to her, seeing as they probably didn't even know the ring was stashed in the box. Cloutier has posted her e-mail address so the buyer of the jewelry box can contact her; there will be a reward for the ring's safe return.
