Dolly Parton Pays Tribute to Kenny Rogers
Sad news over the weekend for many who grew up listening to or hearing the music of Kenny Rogers over the decades. Kenny passed away at his home due to natural causes at the age of 81 on Saturday.
With huge hit songs like "The Gambler," "Lady," "Through The Years," and the duet "Islands in the Stream" with Dolly Parton, Rogers has always been a household name for sure.
Speaking of Dolly, she posted a video on her Instagram after getting the news of Kenny's passing:

You never know how much you love somebody until they’re gone. I’ve had so many wonderful years and wonderful times with my friend Kenny, but above all the music and the success I loved him as a wonderful man and a true friend. So you be safe with God and just know that I will always love you, dolly.
Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra-Jonas took to their IG to check in with fans over the weekend:
Rihanna’s Clara Lionel Foundation announced on Saturday that it has donated $5 million to COVID-19 rapid response efforts in the United States and across the globe. The money will go to local food banks serving at-risk communities and the elderly in the United States, and will also be used to promote the acceleration of coronavirus testing and care in other countries like Haiti and Malawi.

So many other celebrities and the celeb couples are stepping up and making big donations, too. Kelly Ripa and her husband actor Mark Consuelos have donated $1 million to COVID-19 relief efforts in New York City.
Speaking of Kelly, Live with Kelly and Ryan started broadcasting the TV show live from each of their homes this week, just like Michael and I have been doing. I guess we're the trendsetters over here in New Bedford.
