The Latest 'American Idol' Is Crowned

There's a new American Idol after last night's finale.

Judges Katy Perry, Lionel Richie, Luke Bryan and host Ryan Seacrest helped virtually crown the winner of the last night. Season 3's winner is "Just Sam" from Harlem, New York. Just Sam went from singing on a subway to becoming the only woman to make it to the top five.

Jason Derulo has partnered with the popular video game PUB G Mobile for a social impact campaign called #FIGHT4THEPLANET. He's created a TikTok dance challenge to raise awareness of climate change.

Selena Gomez, Miley Cyrus and Cardi B were among the stars who took part in Facebook's #Graduation2020: Celebrate the Class of 2020, which took place this past Friday to celebrate this year’s graduates whose ceremonies were canceled because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

They each shared advice and encouragement to the graduating class, with Miley dedicating her song “The Climb” to them.
