Applebees Fires Waitress After Posting Photo Of Receipt With Rude Message

After a photo went viral on Reddit of a receipt that an Applebees waitress posted about a horrible tip that she received from a Pastor, the company has fired her. Apparently the Pastor, identified as Alois Bell, said that the photo of the receipt was damaging to her reputation. In case you can't read the rude message written on the note, it says 'I give God 10%, why do you get 18?'. The company policy is to add an automatic gratuity to the total if your party has a certain number of people. Bell's party consisted of 8, which triggered the auto tip.

You have to be careful about what you post, but should Applebees have fired her for this? Did the Pastor have a right to put that rude message on the receipt?
