What’s Happened to the Water at Grandma Hartley’s Pond?

A Rochester man discovered a very dried up Grandma Hartley's Pond earlier today.

Kevin Thompson from Rochester was taking a walk over near Grandma Hartley's Pond and discovered it was completely dried up.  His video footage shows a completely dried up pond where there would normally be at least 3 feet of water.  It appears the culvert gave out which moved the water towards Rochester Memorial Elementary, one of the local schools where the water will be running higher than usual after this. During his short video, Kevin points out small fish on the ground that are dead because the water went through so fast.

Without any water on the pond, how will the Rochester Memorial Day Boat Races happen this year?  The race always start at this particular area of Grandma Hartley's Pond.  There's been no official word from the race officials yet.
