We know the SouthCoast has some of the best food around, but we want the world to know it, too.

Since the closing of Ma's Donuts, I've been craving them badly and would do a lot of things for just one more bite of those heavenly donuts.

Some taste like Ma's Donuts. One is exactly like a malassada. But the owners of the new USA Homemade Donuts in New Bedford have no idea what either of those is.

Even these iconic local businesses couldn't survive the wildfire that was 2016, so here's one last farewell

The owners of Ma's Donuts will be retiring, but hopefully the legacy will live on.

We have all eaten them, and we all love them. But after 5 consecutive trips to Ma's donuts, I have walked away empty handed. For the past 3 weeks, I have made 5 trips to the New Bedford landmark. Three times before 9am, once before 8am, and each time not only are there no glazed donuts, but there are NO donuts at all...
