We are two weeks away from September, and if you are asking yourself, Where did the time go? I am right there with you.

I feel like I blinked, and summer was over.

But don’t get me wrong, I do not point out the grim fact of summer’s conclusion as a way to bring you down. I say it as an encouragement to take full advantage of the final days of August and leave the summer of 2022 feeling accomplished and refreshed for the new season.

At the beginning of the summer, I had a laundry list of activities I hoped to do in order to make the most of my summer months. Among the list were kayaking, floating down a lazy river somewhere, outdoor concerts, and a trip to Six Flags. I am sad to report that not many of my wishes were accomplished.
