It's only been a few weeks since purchasing a Westerly home for his family, but Steve Schirripa is settling in nicely to the Ocean State.

The former Sopranos star is making the rounds in Rhode Island, including a local shop in his new hometown.

Westerly Packing Company has been selling fresh-cut meats since the early 1900s. The family business has certainly grown over the years, featuring a butcher shop, deli and groceries, attracting the likes of locals and now celebrities.

"He has a house in Westerly now so a mutual friend was showing him places that he may like to shop at," owner Bruno Trombino said about the run-in with Schirripa. The two had met briefly at SoupyFest, an annual event in Westerly celebrating the dry-cured, spicy Italian sausage.

Having a shared interest in Italian meats, Trombino showed Schirripa around the facility.

"I gave him a tour, showed him all of our imported products and fresh meats," he said. "He seemed to be impressed with our soupy room and how much product we go through."

Despite the visit being brief, Tony Soprano's former brother-in-law made quite the impression on Trombino.

"He seems like a great down-to-Earth guy," he said.
