Hollywood Star Paula Patton Spotted Filming New Lifetime Movie in Rhode Island

Rhode Island is once again in the spotlight.

Yes, The Real Housewives of Rhode Island have begun filming for Season 2, but there are more cameras on the local streets that you should know about. Lifetime has been spotted in Wickford, filming scenes for an upcoming movie On the Vineyard.

Teresa Coletta, owner of The Chocolate Shoppe, was thrilled to see cameras capturing the charming atmosphere of the village. "Their visit was lots of fun for all the shopkeepers," Coletta said.

Hollywood Stars Arrive in Wickford

The movie stars Paula Patton. Yes, that Paula Patton, who was married to Robin Thicke. Aside from her divorce being in the public eye, her work has been seen by many as well. She caught the acting bug early, living across the street from the 20th Century Fox lot in Los Angeles.

Local Shopkeepers Welcome the Film Crew

"I spoke to Ms. Patton and she wanted to know who I was and thanked us for our welcome," Coletta said. "She and part of the crew came in my shop for cold water and goodies."

When to Expect On the Vineyard on Lifetime

No word yet on a premiere date for On the Vineyard, but given that it's a Lifetime production (the network is known to crank out lots of movies each year), chances are we'll have it on our screens in no time. "I enjoy Lifetime movies and I look forward to seeing this movie in the fall," Coletta said.
