If the relevancy of a TV show can be measured by how long it remains in the public eye, then you can definitely count The Sopranos as one of the most relevant shows of all time. In the past several months, there have been multiple Sopranos sightings in Rhode Island—and now, one here on the SouthCoast.

First, Vincent Pastore (in the name of decency, we’ll forego his character’s name on The Sopranos) was spotted in Cranston hosting an upcoming documentary.

Next, we had Federico Castelluccio (who played Carmella's temptation, Furio, on the Sopranos) spotted at the Olneyville New York System in Providence as he joins the cast for a suspense thriller called  Death Comes Calling.

Then, we had Tony Soprano's brother-in-law dropping some serious clout when he claimed a Rhode Island meatball was the best he ever had!

Now, the Bada Bing bartender is making an appearance in New Bedford. Frank Santorelli (known as Georgie the bartender) will take the stage at The Vault on Union Street for a stand-up comedy show.

Santorelli’s character is probably best known for getting the snot kicked out of him by mob boss Tony Soprano for "wasting ice" while the Bada Bing was apparently experiencing tough times. Poor Georgie didn’t see the ice bucket beatdown coming, but that didn’t stop him from continuing to work at the strip club. He returned with a cast and a sling—but otherwise, no worse for wear.

Italian Comedy Night will take place on Thursday, March 6.  Tickets and info here.

Here's the NSFW clip of Tony convincing Georgie not to waste the ice.  For the record, I'm convinced.
