Many are questioning whether or not this new law has gone too far.  Should all citizens feel obligated to come to the rescue of a dog left in a vehicle during extreme weather conditions, hot or cold?

On August 19th, Governor Charlie Baker signed an animal rights law written by Senator Mark Montigny from New Bedford.  This new law allows both law enforcement officials and civilians to rescue distressed animals from locked vehicles.  In addition, the same for when outside weather conditions like very extreme heat or dangerous cold have a risk to the health or safety of the dog unless the time alone does not exceed 15 minutes.  You can read more on this new law right here.
