Road Trip Worthy: Axe-Throwing Bar in Somerville

By this summer, you'll be able to channel your inner Jason Mamoa at this bar in Somerville.

According to MassLive, the Philadelphia-based Urban Axes will be making its way to Massachusetts. The bar will offer indoor axe-throwing, wine, group activities and even BYOB for certain events. While they do not have food on-site, guests can bring their own.

The building will hold just about 100 people and be designed with multiple throwing areas so no one gets hurt. Don't worry about safety - every participant will go through a brief training with "axe-perts" before they're given their own 1.5 lbs. hatchet.

Urban Axes currently operates out of Philly, Austin, and Baltimore - making their MA location just the 4th in the country.

If you get really good, you can even join in tournaments to show off your skills.
