
HBO’s ‘The Gilded Age’ Casting Babies in Newport for Season 4
Is your little one ready for their closeup? Here's their chance to become a star and be seen by millions.
HBO’s The Gilded Age Looking for Babies in Newport
"HBO’s award-winning series The Gilded Age Season 4 will be back filming in Newport, RI this spring and the production is looking for infants (newborn–five months old) to appear in an upcoming scene," Rhode Island Film shared.

The hit show is calling for local babies to be featured prominently in a scene.
Your child won't just appear in the background or be heard cooing or crying. Rather, "the baby will portray a newborn held by a principal actor in the HBO series," RI Film added.

How Much Babies Can Earn on the Show
Casting is open for twins and single babies with varying rates.
- Twins: $500 for eight hours
- Single Baby: $350 for eight hours
This isn't the first time The Gilded Age has reached out to locals. Back in 2024, a casting call went out for locals to don attire from the 1880s as paid background extras.

How Parents Can Apply for The Gilded Age Casting Call
Those interested must email GildedAge@gwcnyc.com and include the following information:
Subject line: “TG Newport Infant”
- Parent/Guardian name
- Phone number
- Child(ren)'s name(s)
- Child(ren)'s age/date of birth
- Are you local to Newport, RI? If not, where are you located?
- Attach 1-2 current photos of your child(ren)
- Is your child available for all tentative shoot dates?
- What is your child's current clothing sizes?
Tentative filming dates are Wednesday, April 15, Tuesday, April 21 and Thursday, April 23.
