If you're "Shippin' up to Boston"... here's what you'll need to know.

Due to the recent snow storm we recieved here in Masschusetts, the snow covered streets and sidewalks have brought complications to Saturday's St. Patrick's Day Parade on March 17th, 2018.

According to NECN.com, Boston Mayor Marty Walsh has declared that although the Parade is still on, the original route has been shortened from Broadway Station to Farragut Road.

NECN reports that each year, the parade brings in up to a million people annually, so the Mayor's decision is in the best interest of the crowd's safety. Kick off time for the parade will begin around 12:30 PM.
