McDonald's is selling vegan nuggets and somehow my co-workers thought I'd want to know this.

I don't know how it started, but somehow several co-workers came to believe I was a vegan.

I'm not even close to being vegan. There are so many delicious things I could never give up eating to become a vegan.

And yet, more than once when ordering food for the office, someone around here says "Can you eat that? Aren't you vegan?"

Well apparently if I was vegan, I could still find something to eat at McDonald's.

The fast food chain recently started testing vegan nuggets on some of their menus.

Right now you can get the McVegan nugget only in Norway. (does that mean more people is Norway are vegan than anywhere else?)

But what is a McVegan nugget you ask?

Excellent question.

It's a combination of chickpeas, onion, mashed potatoes, carrots and corn coated in bread crumbs and fried until crispy.

That doesn't actually sound bad at all.

The picture isn't really doing them any justice IMO, but if they do wind up coming to the states I think I would actually give them a try.

Don't get me wrong, I'll still prefer the BigMac (cause I'm not a vegan), but I would at least give them a try. Would you?
