Happy Lemonade Day, everybody!

It's a holiday of sorts here on the SouthCoast. This is Fun 107's fifth Lemonade Day, and we have a record number of lemonade stands to visit across the SouthCoast. Over 100 different stands have been built, nearly 300 children will be working today to earn money. Most of the kids have chosen to donate a portion of their earnings to charities that mean something to them.

We're out and about visiting as many stands as possible, and we'll be sharing a photo gallery on Fun107.com. If you visit a lemonade stand, please be sure to post a photo up on Fun 107's Facebook page. We'd love to include a picture and recognize each and every lemonade stand on Fun107.com.

If you see one of these 100 lemonade stands in your travels today, please make it a point to pull over and buy a glass of delicious lemonade. It would mean the world to these kids and you'll be helping out a local charity in the process.

We've spoken to Chelsea Priest and she says even if a couple of morning showers roll through today, we can expect a dry afternoon, so we're encouraging all of the stands to stick it out.

Whether you were a Lemonade Day sponsor, a young entrepreneur, volunteered your business to be a safe location to sell lemonade, or you just bought and enjoyed some lemonade today, a heartfelt thank you from all of us here at Fun 107.

It is FREE for kids to register and participate in this event, thanks to our Main Squeeze BayCoast Bank, our Champion ProGroup Contracting, and support from community sponsors like Frugal Franks, Andrew's Fruit & ProduceAuclair's MarketSonic of SomersetRoots & DaisiesLee's MarketSt. John's RestaurantSouthcoast Marketplace, and 7-11 Mattapoisett,
