Ford Recalls Millions Of Trucks
Ford has recalled millions of 2015, 2016 and 2017 Ford F-150s as well as 2017 Super Duty trucks because of a door latch problem that can allow the door to open while the truck is moving.
The issue can also cause drivers to be unable to open their door when they need to.
The company says it is not aware of any accidents or injuries related to the door issue, but they are recalling the trucks and offering owners free repairs.
Anyone driving an affected Ford vehicle can take it to a Ford dealership to have a water shield installed over the door latch and door actuation cables repaired if necessary.
Ford says the free repairs will cost the company about $267 million.
