We shared a bittersweet story out of Fall River this morning.

You've probably heard the story of a little Tiverton boy that has been diagnosed with a terminal brain tumor. Shawn Smith was just 10 years old when he got the heartbreaking diagnosis during his Christmas vacation back in December. Doctors say that they expect the boy to survive until June of this year.

Since this devastating news, Shawn's family has worked with the boy to compile a bucket list of things he wants to do while he still can.

One of those dreams came true when he was able to meet a player on the Philadelphia Eagles. Shawn also had dreams of visiting Gillette Stadium. The Patriots tell us that there are plans in the works to make that happen.

Thanks to a group of local business owners, another dream came true for Shawny this weekend. Mike Carvalho, the owner of County Street Collision in Fall River, tells us that he teamed up with other local car enthusiasts to grant Shawn's wish of spending the day with a Lamborghini. The guys brought three Lambos and a Ferrari to the boy's Tiverton home.

Shawn was ecstatic. "His eyes just blew up," said Carvalho.

Coincidentally, Carvalho's wife Christine was named Fun 107's Teacher of the Month last week for her tireless dedication to the Silvia School.

The Carvalhos are clearly a family that cares about their community.
