11-Year-Old Tiverton Boy Taking the Classic Summer Lemonade Stand to a Whole New Level
A young boy's business is gaining lots of attention on the SouthCoast. Eleven-year-old Braysen Gramolini from Tiverton, Rhode Island is serving a summertime staple: iced-cold lemonade. He's doing it quite successfully.
Taking a Summer Staple to the Next Level
Braysen began selling the drinks in the summer of 2023, but it's not your average lemonade stand. He's taking it to the next level, offering lemonade in flavors like original, watermelon, strawberry and blue raspberry. Plus, with a mom who's a full-time baker, sweet treats can be purchased as well.
"He likes to have different options of cookies every week, three to four kinds. We also sometimes do banana bread and cinnamon rolls," mom Lauren Gramolini said.

Hard Work, Financial Literacy, and Family Support
"As his mom, it's been very rewarding to watch how motivated he is. Braysen also is learning that you have to spend money to make money. He buys all his own supplies with the money he earns for the lemonade and baked goods," Lauren said. "He works hard and saves the money he earns through the lemonade stand and the few lawns he mows and yardwork he does for his customers."

Giving Back to the SouthCoast Community
The young entrepreneur is even doing some good with the profits. "He has donated some of his proceeds previously to his sister's softball to help with travel expenses going to Orange CT for regionals," his mom said.
