If there's one thing I can't stand, it's when someone acts like they are better than everyone else and they treat others like garbage. That's what's going on in this situation here with ESPN Reporter Britt McHenry and a parking lot attendant in Arlington, Virginia.

Apparently, Ms. Britt was having dinner in Arlington and when she came out to look for her car, it had been towed and she was not happy. When she went to pay the towing fee and pick up her car, that was when she started berating the poor clerk working there. She must think that her job 'on TV' is a very big deal, because she mentioned it quite a few times while putting this woman down. In the video, you can also hear her tell the clerk that she "has no brain", she makes fun of her teeth and lastly, tells her that she could "lose some weight, baby girl."

Can I tell you right now how glad I am that this awful behavior was caught on video? No one should be treated like that, ever. This woman was just doing her job and sure, McHenry was frustrated and annoyed that her poor car was towed, but sorry I don't have sympathy for anyone that treats other humans the way she did.

Britt McHenry has been suspended for one week effectively immediately.

Britt has since apologized, "In an intense and stressful moment, I allowed my emotions to get the best of me and said some insulting and regrettable things. As frustrated as I was, I should always choose to be respectful and take the high road. I am so sorry for my actions and will learn from this mistake."

Looks like the apology wasn't enough, as ESPN announced this afternoon that they were suspending Britt McHenry. They released the following statement:

"Britt McHenry has been suspended for one week effectively immediately."

For the record, I had no idea who 'Britt McHenry' was until I read this awful story.  You can watch the entire video here, but FYI, there is profanity. So it's NSFW.
