Here’s Why Your Coffee Run Means More on Dunkin’ Iced Coffee Day
The SouthCoast runs on Dunkin’, and Dunkin’ is giving us a good reason to get our caffeine fix today.
May 23 marks the return of Dunkin’ Iced Coffee Day, and guests can make a big difference today with their typical coffee run.
One dollar from every iced coffee sold at participating Dunkin’ locations will be donated to the Dunkin' Joy in Childhood Foundation.
What Is the Dunkin’ Joy in Childhood Foundation?
This foundation was created to bring the simple joys of childhood to kids battling hunger or illness and it’s dedicated to making a big difference.
“With 100 percent of funds raised on Dunkin’ Iced Coffee Day going towards local children’s hospitals nationwide, the money raised in each community will help these hospitals expand their impact, bolstered by the support of the Foundation,” Dunkin' said in a news release.
Victor Carvalho, the Dunkin’ franchisee and chairman of the board of directors for the Dunkin’ Joy in Childhood Foundation, aims to pour joyfulness into every cup today in the name of giving back.
“Guests who purchase an iced coffee on May 23 will be sipping with a purpose and supporting kids in their own communities,” he said.
The Impact of Dunkin' Iced Coffee Day
Last year, Dunkin’ Iced Coffee Day raised $1.8 million for the foundation, which was granted to 93 local children’s hospitals across the country and funded programs such as art, music, electronic gaming equipment and specialized summer camps.
Let’s help Dunkin’ raise even more this year by doing what we do best: drinking Dunkin'.
Your daily coffee run (or two) will not only satisfy your caffeine craving, but it will also help an even bigger cause and bring smiles to the faces of children in need.
Raise a cup and celebrate Dunkin’ Iced Coffee Day at participating locations.
