DEA Holding Its 8th Prescription Drug Take Back Day This Weekend
The DEA's National Take Bake Initiative is coming up this Saturday, April 26. Over the past few years the DEA has collected over 1,700 tons of expired and unwanted prescription drugs nationwide.
Leaving unused and unwanted prescription drugs around the household can lead to accidental ingestion, theft, abuse, and misuse according to the DEA.
If you have any unwanted, unused, or expired prescriptions drugs in your home and are looking to get rid of them you can drop them off Saturday, April 26 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.at any of the locations here along the Southcoast.
