On Saturday, March 14, 2026, I emceed a special event that I look forward to every year. The Boston Bruins Foundation invited military moms-to-be to gather at Ferncroft Country Club in Middleton for a celebratory afternoon.

Many of us expect a baby shower when we’re having our first child, but it's a luxury that not everyone can experience, especially for those that are away from friends and family.

Dozens of moms attended the Bruins Operation: Military Baby Shower. The moms-to-be were overwhelmed by the generosity.

Military Moms-To-Be Celebrate a Special Day

Guests enjoyed a delicious brunch, created their own bouquets, and of course walked away with plenty of baby gear.

From humidifiers to sound machines, Bruins onesies to breast pumps, the Bruins Foundation and a slew of other sponsors provided gifts for the expecting moms.

It was just a small token of appreciation for the continued sacrifices they and their families make every day.
