The Boston Bruins are not letting up in their pursuit of making it to the postseason and they've got some big names in their corner.

A Surprise Moment at TD Garden

On Tuesday, March 31, 2026, New England's sweetest couple, Drake and Ann Michael Maye, showed their love for the Bs at TD Garden and the crowd was loving it.

Allow me to set the scene for you. Roughly halfway through the second period, a fan wearing an "I Heart Drake Maye" t-shirt appeared on the Jumbotron.

The Fan That Started It All

Now I should mention that throughout this Bruins season, fans wearing similar attire have been getting high praise from the crowd. Having worked every home game, I've seen many fans cheer in support of their favorite new quarterback.

This was no different. The crowd once again erupted in loud clapping and cheers for the fan on camera, but it was nothing compared to what happened next.

Drake Maye Steals the Spotlight

Cut to Ann Michael and Drake Maye in attendance, watching from a suite at TD Garden. The place went nuts.

The New England Patriots QB and his wife smiled to the crowd. Drake made a heart with his hands, showing some love for Boston and even tipped his cap in appreciation, revealing a fresh cut he just got that morning.

When the camera went back to the fan wearing the Drake Maye shirt, he was stunned. The crowd grew even louder.

He even ended up winning "Fan of the Game" later on that night, receiving the best reaction from the crowd.

Bruins Feed Off the Energy

The New England love was certainly felt in the building and maybe it added to the luck of the black and gold that night. The Bruins went on to win 6-3 over the Dallas Stars.
