An email was sent around our offices here at FUN 107 a few weeks ago, asking if there was any interest in having a local pharmacy come in on a certain day and administer flu shots.  After hearing nothing further, I asked the person who sent the email if the event was going to happen.  She said "no, you were the only staffer who was interested."   So in talking about it with some co-workers, some said they usually get one at their own doctor's office, and others who said "no way, no shot for me".  No middle ground.  No one was on the fence about getting a flu shot.

You either believe in them or you don't.  Last year, for the first time in a few years, I didn't bother to get one.  I paid dearly.  For the first time in years, I was in bed for nearly 3 days with the flu.  I never miss work, and am rarely ill at all.   I'll admit, I'm not 100 percent sure the shot would have prevented that episode, but I'm not taking any chances.
