50 Yard Asteroid WIll Miss Earth, But Barely

If your hair blows back a bit on Feb 15th, it could be due to the fact that asteroid 2012DA14 will be speeding by earth.

It will come within 17, 200 miles of earth, which is closer than some satellites. I don't know about you, but that sounds pretty close to me. NASA is saying that it shouldn't hit any of those satellites either.

This news comes a day after a house sized asteroid came 59,000 miles away from earth. Wow, ,is it just a matter of time now or what?
