New England Patriots Coach Bill Belichick and Quarterback Tom Brady finally faced the media yesterday at Gillette Stadium.

Some key quotes:

Reporter: So you have never knowingly played with a football that was under 12 and a half pounds of pressure?" Tom Brady: "No"

 

"I can tell you in my entire coaching career, I have never talked to any player or staff member about football air pressure." --Bill Belichick

 

Reporter: "Have you sought out anybody from the equipment staff to ask them if they did anything with the footballs?" Tom Brady: "Yeah...and they haven't...and I believe them."'

 

When I came in Monday morning I was shocked to learn of the news reports about the footballs. I had no knowledge whatsoever about this situation (#Deflategate) until Monday morning. --Bill Belichick
