Forever Paws Animal Shelter

Meet Zeus. Zeus is a 12-pound, 6-year-old chihuahua currently residing at Forever Paws Animal Shelter in Fall River.

Zeus may look permanently concerned, but he’s truly the happiest little guy in the world.

Zeus loves his squeaky toys, treats, long walks, and sitting on your lap.

He does not love waking up early, so he makes the first cuddle buddy for lazy mornings.

“He’s great on a leash and loves to go for walks and will start happy prancing,” said the shelter. “A shy, nervous nelly at first, he warms up pretty quick if you get down to his level and talk to him in a soft voice and let him come to you.”

Zeus is still working on a few manners, so the shelter recommends no cats and children must be at least ten years old.

“He is super smart and knows tons of cues already and picks up on others like it's a breeze,” said the shelter. “If you want an actual, real-life snuggle bug that will sleep under the covers with you, this is your guy.”
