At 10:18 a.m., while officers were still speaking with the clerk at Maplewood Mini Mart, a second robbery was reported at County Convenience on County Street.

Police said officers who responded to that location were told the suspect was wearing a green t-shirt and a green hat.

According to the clerk, the suspect said that he was robbing the store and instructed him to open the cash register. Police were contacted shortly after, which led the suspect to flee the store.

While investigating the robbery at County Convenience, officers identified a white minivan as the suspect's vehicle.

At 10:28 a.m., police received a third call reporting that a male in a green t-shirt and green hat had entered Family Dollar on Stafford Road and asked for all the money in the cashier's drawer.

When asked to clarify his statement, the man, later identified as William Bruce, 45, of Fall River, said he just wanted to see her reaction. He then left the business in a white minivan.

Police located Bruce driving the white minivan in the area of Huard Street and Albert Street.
