Westport Land Conservation Trust Hike Offers Scenic Trails and Local Wine Experience
Ready... set... HIKE!
No, this isn't about football, but it's a healthy alternative to kick off the festivities.
Before settling in for the big game, get outside and enjoy the great outdoors with the Westport Land Conservation Trust’s annual Super Bowl Walk on Saturday, February 9th, at 10:30 AM. This year’s scenic trek will begin at Westport Rivers Vineyard & Winery (417 Hixbridge Road, Westport, MA) and explore the newly preserved Wings Brook portion of the East Branch watershed.
This three-mile hike offers a unique opportunity to experience Westport’s stunning landscape, including old farm fields, wooded trails, wetlands, and working farmland. The walk covers uneven terrain, wet areas, and ends with a steep incline, so sturdy footwear is recommended. Due to the challenging nature of the hike, it is not recommended for small children.
