Westport Residents Team Up for Town-Wide Cleanup Day
Anyone who lives here on the SouthCoast can agree that there are some truly beautiful areas that deserve nothing more than to be kept clean. Whether it’s a park, a beach, or just your own neighborhood street, Dunkin’ cups tossed in the bushes, plastic bags blowing like tumbleweeds, even broken glass hiding in the sand is frustrating. Sadly, it happens way too often.
That’s where Team C.O.W. steps in.
Clean Our Westport is back at it again, turning that frustration into action with another community-wide cleanup. This time, they’re teaming up with the Westport River Watershed Alliance and WIN Waste Innovations to make an even bigger impact.

This Saturday, April 11, volunteers are invited to meet at the old Westport High School (17 Main Road) from 9 a.m. to noon to help clean up the town. Need a little motivation to get moving? Residential Properties will be there with coffee and donuts to kick things off.

A Community Effort That Makes a Real Difference
One of the best parts about Team C.O.W. is how easy it makes it to get involved. You don’t need to bring a thing. The team will provide safety vests, trash bags, and grabbers. Basically, everything you need to get the job done safely and efficiently.
Whether you’ve got five minutes or the full morning, it all adds up. Every piece of trash picked up is one less eyesore, and one step closer to keeping Westport looking like the place we all know and love.
How to Get Involved
If you’re ready to roll up your sleeves, you can reach out to Team C.O.W. by emailing cleanourwestport@gmail.com or simply show up Saturday morning and jump right in.
At the end of the day, this is about pride in where we live, neighbors helping neighbors and cleaning up the SouthCoast.
