Even though this law passed two years ago, many people forget about it and it particularly applies on rainy days (like this week!) 

As of April 7, 2015, Massachusetts became one of the 18 states to make it illegal to have your windshield wipers ON but your headlights OFF.

Basically, if your wipers are on, your headlights and taillights should be on, too.

It enhances not only your visibility to other vehicles, but also improves your own visibility in terms of being able to see in adverse weather conditions.”

While the fine for being caught driving without headlights on is pretty minimal, your insurance could go up for this kind of violation.
