The Tiverton Police Department is excited to offer several options for people looking to make the season brighter for other families in need. From helping children to helping senior citizens, Tiverton PD is on a mission to bring joy to those who need it most.

Operation: Blue Santa, 2022

Friendly neighbors are encouraged to donate new, unwrapped toys and gifts to the Tiverton Police Department, which will distribute the generous items to children 17 years old and younger in the Tiverton area.

Stuff the Cruiser Event

Keep an eye out for the Tiverton Police Department’s annual “Stuff the Cruiser” event on Saturday, December 10th from 10 am to 2 pm, where Santa, Mrs. Clause, elves, and their reindeer friends will stop by as a DJ plays festive music. All people who donate a gift are welcome to hot chocolate and baked goods.

Santa for Seniors

Tiverton PD has teamed up with Fort Barton Elementary School to bring holiday cheer to seniors that may be spending the holidays alone. The department hopes to prepare several gift baskets to be delivered to seniors between Tuesday, December 20th through Friday, December 23rd. New and unused items can be donated to any of the drop-off locations participating in Operation: Blue Santa. Desired items include soft-cover novels, word search books, crossword puzzle books, word jumble books, jigsaw puzzles, no-slip socks, slippers, bathrobes, blankets, sweaters, scarves, gloves, hats, jams, teas, hard candies, chocolates, cough drops, lip balm, and toiletries.

It's the season of giving, and with the town's help, Tiverton PD hopes to spread love and good cheer for the holidays.
