Welcome into this week's Rock and Fox Show "Friday Song," a compilation of audio like you've never heard before.

Every Friday morning at 7:05 a.m., the Rock and Fox Show celebrates the arrival of the end of the week with a special "Friday Song." I have taken the instrumental parts of Todd Rundren's "Bang The Drum All Day"...

...and added my own twist of movie and TV clips for a crazy mix of epic fun.

This week, we take a step back in time, but not too far. Back to great era of the 80's and 90's when hip-hop was outstanding and you could actually understand every word the artist was rapping. A time where there was actual meaning and entertainment from the lyrics and a connection was established between the rapper and the audience.

Christine Fox has always been a huge supporter and fan of throw-back jams and can we honestly be mad at her for wanting a classic hip-hop hit sprinkled here and there on the Rock and Fox Show a couple of times a week? Heck no.

Between Biggie Smalls, Snoop Dogg, Montell Jordan, Biz Markie and everyone else in between who marked an era of greatness in the world of hip-hop, we stand together on Fridays as we celebrate the week's end in style and grace all over the place.

Therefore, I have created a mash-up that includes a fun clip and look back at this week's Rock and Fox Show. Why do we do this, you might ask? Great question.

The song is designed to get you up and moving on a Friday morning in preparation for the weekend, and if this doesn't do it for you, then I'm not doing my job well enough. So, sit back, turn up your speakers a little louder, and enjoy!
