The 5 Times Massachusetts Reminded Us Of Westeros [PHOTOS]
Game of Thrones returns this Sunday and maybe it's us, but the wait has made us see signs of Westeros everywhere.
- 1
Kings Landing
The cobblestone streets of Downtown New Bedford bring to mind the roads of Flea Bottom in Kings Landing.
In fact at the right angle, a certain spot near the water definitely makes us think of Cersei's "Walk of Shame."
- 2
Winterfell
Though nobody wants to hear "Winter is Coming" these days, there is a certain spot on the Southcoast that makes of think of Winterfell.
Standing inside the walls of Fort Taber, you can easily pictures the Stark kids running around with their Direwolves.

The Iron Islands
You don't have to be out on the cold, hard seas to get the feeling you're approaching the Iron Islands
Stand in the right spot in the Freetown State Forest and you can imagine what it would be like to visit the ironborn.

Dorne
We may not have the harsh desert climate that Dorne does, but in the summer it can get pretty hot.
Still with the right amount of sunshine there is a certain courtyard in New Bedford that makes us think of Sunspear.

The Wall
Of course you can't think Game of Thrones without thinking of the Wall.
And who can forget last winter when the freezing temperatures and constant snow turned Gillette Stadium into the icy barrier keeping us from the white walkers.
