Swansea Man Arested For Stabbing In New Bedford

An argument between a man from Swansea and another man outside of his mother's Grinnell Street New Bedford apartment has left the man with stab wounds.   Police say the argument apparently began when the suspect moved the stabbing victim's car without permission.   The fight then moved outside before the man was stabbed.

23-year-old Michael Fabiano has been arrested on charges of armed assault with intent to murder.   The man who was stabbed suffered wounds to the chest, back and wrist.   Detectives say he was an acquaintance of Fabiano's mother.    

Fabiano was arrested just before Noon of Friday at his girlfriend's apartment in Dartmouth.
