Low lying areas of New Bedford, including East and West Rodney French Boulevard, along with Padanaram Village, West island in Fairhaven, and parts of Westport could take the brunt of a predicted 3 to 6 foot surge as Sandy drives the water from tonight's tide into the shore. The weather experts say the worst could come at about 8:30pm when the tide is the highest.  No mandatory evacuations have been ordered for these areas as of yet, but if you live there, you are urged to keep an eye out for rapidly changing conditions.   There is a mandatory evacuation in South Dartmouth. If there are evacuation orders, we will have them posted right here at fun107.com
