Rochester Fire Fighters Save House

Fire Fighters were busy Wednesday afternoon responding to numerous medical calls when urgent calls came into the 911 center for a house fire. The Rochester Fire Department responded to the area of High Street for a reported fire in a basement. When Fire Fighters arrived they found a fire spreading up along side a wall inside the house. Fire fighters were able to quickly stop the fire from spreading and causing any more damage to the home.

No injuries were reported and thanks to the fast response and work by the Rochester Fire Fighters, the damage to the home was contained. The fire is believed to have started in an electrical outlet
