Sia Is Auctioning Off A Jar Of Her Breath

She's been known to have some strange behavior, like not facing her audience when she performs on stage...but this takes the cake.  Sia is auctioning off a jar of her breath.

Yes, that's right. She's exhaled into a mason jar, sealed it up real tight and now it's being auctioned off. So basically, anyone who buys this jar at auction is getting an empty, potentially smelly, mason jar.

This magical jar of air is being auctioned off at the Adelaide Film Festival, where they seem to be pretty excited about the whole thing. A spokesperson for the Adelaide Film Festival said, “Gorgeously and magnificently, she breathed into a jar for us. Her breath is in a Mason jar with silver sealing wax, so no one can accidentally open it. Whoever wins it will be able to break the seal — or just let it be.”

Is it me, or is this just completely weird and a little obnoxious? C'mon now. If someone buys this mason jar, they are getting ripped off...it's an empty jar, that's it and that's all.  If you want to take in someone else's oxygen, go outside, we all breathe the same air! Hopefully the money collected from the auction goes to charity or some other worthy cause, at least there could be something good to come out of Sia's jar of hot air!
