Russian Meteorite Injures 500 People [VIDEO]

It's something you would see out of a movie, but it's real. According to FOX News, a meteorite streaked across the sky early Friday morning causing explosions, and those around were injured by broken glass.

A resident of Chelyabinski, Sergey Hametov, was one of the eye witnesses.

There was panic. People had no idea what was happening. Everyone was going around to people's houses to check if they were okay.

Now, the United States could see a similar event like what happened in Russia later today. Is it even safe to be indoors when a meteorite crashes through? Keep looking up!
